When you have received your product, read and carefully follow the product care instructions that come with each product, before using the product for the first time and throughout its lifetime. Store the instructions in a safe place for your future reference.

Check that all parts of the product are in perfect condition. If something is not right with your order, contact your place of purchase immediately upon receipt.

    Always refer to the product care instructions that come with each kettle. Majority of spare parts can be purchased from our Online stores including whistles, lids and other spare parts.

    There is a vast selection of spare parts for Alessi coffee makers.

After sales assistance

In case of product defects, who should I contact for assistance?

We are very sorry if you have received a defective product and we want to help you solve the problem as quickly as possible.

For products purchased at physical stores, please contact the store where the purchase was made directly.

For online purchases, please contact our friendly Customer Service, call us on 03 4149 7000 or email us at [email protected]. Please get in touch with us as soon as you discover the defect and provide as many details as possible (the order number, which item is defective, what is the defect, etc.).

A customer service member will find a solution and respond to your request as soon as possible.

Note: We cannot price match after a promotion has ended.

Warranty

In the event of a defect, the product should be returned to the place of purchase by the customer, together with proof of purchase, for replacement or refund. If Alessi items are purchased in other wholesale stores in Australia, they must return to that store and we cannot accept their products unless bought in David Jones or on the Alessi website. Any handling and transportation are not covered by warranty and will be borne by the customer.

Alessi warranty is 2 years from the date of purchase.

The obligation of Alessi under this warranty is limited to the circumstances set out above and is subject to:

The product not having been altered, tampered with or otherwise dealt with by any person in a manner other than as intended in respect of the relevant product, and

The product not having been used or applied in a manner that is contrary to the customary usage of application of the relevant product or contrary to any stated instructions or specifications of Alessi.

We accept returns and exchanges in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law.

This enables you to return a product that is:

  • Faulty
  • Significantly different to those shown or described to you
  • Not fit for the intended purpose of the product
  • Unsafe

We accept change of mind returns within 14 days of the online purchase with a presentation of your receipt, and goods with all packaging and in a resalable condition.

No repair centre in Australia.

Promotional Voucher

What is the promotional voucher and how does it work?

The discount code is provided to take advantage of special promotions, we often send promotional codes to customers subscribed to our Newsletter on the occasion of particular events.

How to use your voucher:

If you have received a promotional code, all you have to do is enter it on the order conclusion page: the discount will be calculated and displayed automatically. If you have an account, please make sure you’re logged in with the same email address that you’ve registered to our newsletter.

Please check that the discount has been applied before concluding the purchase.

Remember to enter the promotional code when finalising the order as it will not be possible to add it later.

If after introducing the voucher code your code does not work, please contact our customer service.

Alessi birthday vouchers cannot be used in David Jones or on David Jones websites

We also remind you that voucher codes do not apply to promotional items or spare parts. It will only work with full-priced items.
