Announcement: Alessi Design Awards 2019

Alessi Australia is excited to announce the partnership with Vogue Living Australia on the prestigious Alessi Design Awards, recognising and supporting Australia’s most talented designers.

Now in it’s fifth year, the Alessi Design Awards celebrates the immense talent and innovation that Australia has to offer in design, pairing up-and-coming designers, as well as established designers, with one of the world’s most recognised brands.

This year, we are refreshing the awards with a slightly new approach. We will have two winners – an established designer AND an emerging designer. Both successful applicants will travel to Milan to present their design to the Alessi family, who will evaluate it for possible production under our iconic brand.

The winner of the 2019 Alessi Design Award will join the elite group of Australians who have worked with Italian design giant Alessi – Abi Alice, Steven Blaess, Sussan Cohn, Adam Cornish, Anita Dineen, Jim Hannon-Tan, Helen Kontouris, Tom Kovac, Marc Newson, Berto Pandolfo, Lisa Vincitorio, Adam Goodrum and architects Denton Corker Marshall.

Entry and design brief will be announced March 2019.
