Sottsass collection re-proposes some of Ettore Sottsass’s most interesting designs for the collection of wooden objects that has enriched the Alessi catalogue since 1989. The colours of that first edition are now joined by new and surprising combinations that give us a fresh immersion into the chromatic language of one of Italy’s greatest designers.

A special collection, interpreted by Ettore Sottsass with his trademark use of overlapping coloured volumes typical of his style. A new and deep immersion into the chromatic language of one of Italy's greatest designers, this unique range comprises of three particular grinders, simple kitchen jars marked by a small touch of contemporary design, a corkscrew that is both effective and exciting, and its majestic design; the centrepiece.

Ercolino is an example of Andrea Branzi’s relationship with the expressive potential of turned wood. In his opinion, it is one of the best materials to create objects. He believes it is possible to establish not only functional but also psychological, symbolic and poetic relationships.

Magnetic Memories

Produced in 1992 and re-proposed here in its original version, this photo frame converted into an object with an elegant and minimalist design. Only utilising a small piece of wood, which acts as a support for the image, held in place by a simple magnet.
